Alex (they/she) draws inspiration from their love of gardening, the mountains, and all types of sweet botanicals and cute creatures.

They enjoy the physical nature of printmaking. They are mostly self-taught, tho they have worked with many amazing and generous mentors over the years. They lived in Asheville, NC for 11 years, where they were a member of a community studio called Print House.They recently moved back to their hometown of SLC, Utah and they are currently a member, studio assistant, and occasional teacher at Saltgrass Printmakers.

Alex primarily focuses on intricate linocut prints, and is also exploring screenprinting, letterpress, and sewing.

Like many printmakers, Alex loves sharing their knowledge and expertise. They are in love with the craft, and want to share it with the world through selling their art and teaching classes.
